Escape The Fate, with front man Craig Mabbit,
released a single, Ungrateful, back
in March. Then, they pushed it further and unleashed a beast! Or in other words
a music video to this track. This music video pushes the boundaries and
forces you to watch it in its entirety. It’s a huge slap in the face, wake up
and do something, be aware kind of video. It’s the first look into what the new
album will be like; they always say a song is a gateway to the album. The story of the video has you on edge, angry, and depressed through it all. It
twists its way through the lives and connections of five people; the bully, the
bullied, the father of the bully, and the parents of the bullied. The film cuts
between the band and the story hold your focus. It also features Craig in mid-scream drenched in blood as many great musicians have done before him. Once the
music video’s story plays through the credits appear and within them more of
the message is held. Pictures of a few bully victims that fell down and didn’t
have the energy to get and who were, in fact, bullied to death appear at the
end. Over all, Escape The Fate and Frankie Nasso, the director of the video, did
a great job of creating a video and song that has a true golden message of
bulling and they did it in an entertaining way. My hat's off to you, Escape the
Fate. Fantastic job boys!
Escape The Fate’s album ‘Ungrateful’, as a whole, is set to be released on May 14, 2013.
