New Years Day- Angel Eyes

New Years Day, an American rock band straight out of Cali, released a new song, Angel Eyes, on August 14, 2013. Accompanying the Cali rock band in the song is Chris Motionless from the band Motionless in White. With the female-edgy clean vocals of lead singer, Ashley Costello, and the dark-masculine cleans and screams from Mr. Motionless the song was a success. The voices complemented each other as well as the instilments. The song has a very catchy aspect to it making you want to play it over and over again. As for the music video it captures you and pulls you in. The video hypnotizes you and you can’t take your eyes away from the screen. There is enough going on, so when you watch it a second time you see things that you didn’t quite see the first time. The lighting sets a mysterious mood that makes you wonder what is going to happen next. You feel like you are at the masquerade party following Ashley around as Chris follows. Director, Justin Lutsky, hit a solid 8 out of 10 on my great music video scale. Well done!
