Rise Against- Make It Stop

Rise Against has been around for several years now and in June of 2011 they releases a music video foe a song entitled: Make It Stop (September's Children). The video takes place in a school following three teens struggle through daily life in school and after school. The teens are homosexuals. It shows how difficult it is and how they constantly get violently bullied. The video is not very high budget but done decent. camera shots are shakie at points when on the teens and yet steady when on the band. Rise Against, being a punk band, speaks out through their music about important issues. Through the song and lyrics they are trying to give hope to anyone who is struggling with similar issues as the teens in the video. They are letting others know that things do get better. That things won't always be this way. Their creative approach for the video was fantastic. They included videos of other teens saying that things will change. They through inspiration in. They made sure the message was conveyed clear enough for simple understatement.
